Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas, guest rooms, and public spaces
- Conduct floor care tasks such as polishing, buffing, and deep cleaning carpets to maintain pristine surfaces
- Assist with light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management
- Support custodial efforts by managing waste disposal and restocking supplies in designated areas
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards through regular inspections and prompt action on identified issues
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces including walkways, patios, and entryways to uphold curb appeal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy weekends and special events
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable
- Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality settings is a plus
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures including troubleshooting minor repairs
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols precisely
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently during weekend shifts
