Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial reporting processes. You will maintain accurate financial records, conduct thorough account reconciliations, and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and journal entries to maintain precise financial records.
- Balance accounts on a a daily basis using Excel data analysis techniques such as VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
- Experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proven expertise in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and financial management concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills including data analysis functions like VLOOKUP are essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy while maintaining a proactive approach toward problem-solving.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
