About the Role:
Classic Car/ Automotive Restoration Shop
We are seeking a highly organized automotive parts and inventory control specialist for a busy classic car and automotive restoration shop.
This is an entry-level position
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of automotive parts, supplies, and materials
- Source, order, and track parts from vendors and suppliers to support restoration projects
- Receive, inspect, and catalog incoming parts shipments for quality and accuracy
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent project delays
- Organize and maintain a clean, efficient parts storage and warehouse environment
- Coordinate with technicians and restoration staff to fulfill parts requests in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records using inventory management software or systems
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor relationships and parts sourcing strategies
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive parts, inventory control, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and terminology
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move parts and supplies as needed (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with technicians and vendors
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
