Locum Medical Physicist – Wisconsin
20-Week Locum Contract

No Wisconsin State License Required
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Shift times vary between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Hours paid per timecard
Requirements:
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or American Board of Medical Physics equivalent in Radiation Therapy Physics
- Master's, Doctorate, or PhD required
- 5+ years of Medical Physics experience
- Experience with Aria, Eclipse, and TrueBeam required
- Epic experience preferred
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior staff to maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) program in compliance with national standards
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and treatment techniques
- Maintain templates, checklists, and therapy equipment within the record and verify system
- Provide radiation safety education to staff
Treatment Techniques:
- VMAT
- SRS
- SBRT
- 3D Treatment Planning
Job Description
Responsible for supporting daily radiation therapy operations, including machine QA, treatment planning support, patient safety, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Will work closely with radiation oncologists, therapists, and dosimetrists to maintain high-quality patient care.
