This position involves workload planning activities that expedite, streamline, and enhance productivity for services provided by the maintenance department. A self-starter who challenges the status quo is essential for this role.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in a trades-related field, with a minimum of 10 years in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, HVAC, Instrumentation, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Maintenance Planning Role or equivalent experience performing maintenance planning-related tasks.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have multi-skilled trades capability and be familiar with the application and operation of all basic maintenance tools and equipment used by various trades groups.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Knowledgeable of various computer systems and programs used in maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with client policies and procedures involving and impacting maintenance operations.
- Experience in coordinating work with other trades or groups and with operating departments, managers, and facility engineers.
- Identify jobs to be planned and create time and resource estimates by conducting field checks and reviewing work requests.
- Coordinate work with other trades or groups and with operating departments, managers, and facility engineers, ensuring conformance with standards, codes, specifications, and expectations.
- Procure equipment, materials, and specialized tools required to perform work by contacting external suppliers for proposals for service and materials.
