Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food products.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food handling and kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations.
