MALE PCA NEEDED FOR MALE CLIENT IN Birmingham, AL-18hrs/week

Seeking a reliable and motivated caregiver who is able to start ASAP!

This client is in need of:
- Client needs assistance with bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and light meal preparation.
- Pet status: none
- Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene and light housekeeping.
- Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by providing their dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences
- Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
- Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to the agency and primary caregiver.
Requirements:
- Basic Health and Tuberculosis screening
- Participate in Quality Improvement Program
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (PREFERRED)
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (preferred)
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
- Meeting recurring training requirements
Job Types: Part time (16hrs/week)
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour (WEEKLY PAY)
Schedule: 4 days per week
