Join Our Immigration Legal Team
We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (English/Spanish) to join our growing immigration law practice in Dallas, Texas.
If you have hands-on experience with EOIR, Immigration Court, asylum, and removal defense and enjoy working directly with attorneys and clients, we would love to hear from you.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative legal team where your experience matters. You will have an active role in preparing cases, working directly with clients, managing court deadlines, and helping attorneys prepare cases for hearings before the Immigration Court.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with immigration attorneys on active EOIR and removal defense cases.
- Prepare I-589 applications, pleadings, motions, notices of filing, EOIR forms, and other court filings.
- Prepare and organize evidence packages, exhibits, declarations, affidavits, witness documentation, and country conditions evidence.
- Assist attorneys in preparing cases for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings.
- Interview clients in English and Spanish and gather detailed information necessary to prepare their cases.
- Draft and assist with client declarations, correspondence, and legal documents.
- Monitor Immigration Court deadlines, hearing dates, filing requirements, and case updates.
- Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding evidence, deadlines, hearings, and case preparation.
- Conduct legal and country conditions research when necessary.
- Assist with filings and communications involving EOIR, BIA, DHS, ICE, and USCIS.
- Work closely with attorneys and other members of our legal team to keep cases moving efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of EOIR practice and removal proceedingsand is comfortable working in a fast-paced immigration law environment.
Required:
- Previous experience as an Immigration Paralegal with EOIR/removal defense cases.
- Fluent English and Spanish — written and spoken.
- Experience preparing I-589 applications and EOIR filings.
- Familiarity with Master Calendar and Individual Hearing preparation.
- Strong understanding of Immigration Court deadlines and procedures.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Strong client communication and interviewing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
