Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, or residential units including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, making beds, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens (if applicable), and high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Conduct floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and performing routine maintenance to preserve flooring quality.
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking amenities, and ensuring all public areas are clean and inviting.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests for additional supplies or assistance.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and reporting maintenance issues to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in custodial work, residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching comfortably.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; certification in cleaning or custodial services is a plus.
- Experience with housekeeping management systems or scheduling tools is advantageous but not required.
