Duties
- Engage with potential and existing customers to promote our products and services through friendly, professional interactions
- Identify customer needs by asking insightful questions and providing detailed product explanations
- Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
- Manage route driving responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of merchandise while adhering to safety standards
- Maintain accurate pricing information, ensuring customers receive transparent and competitive quotes
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during commercial driving activities, including proper documentation and safety protocols
- Organize merchandise displays and conduct merchandising activities to maximize product visibility and appeal
- Handle heavy lifting and automobile transportation tasks safely by following proper lifting practices and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably within a retail or transportation environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route planning, and inventory management
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers
- Organizational skills for route planning, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records
- Experience with merchandising, route driving, and automobile transportation is a plus
- Military background is advantageous due to discipline, organizational skills, and familiarity with logistics operations
