American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Ambulatory OR position at an outpatient surgical center in Kansas, requiring a KS or compact RN license and OR experience.

Ambulatory outpatient surgical center setting

Day shift schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Shift hours: 0630–1700 (approximately 10.5-hour shifts)

36 hours per week

Minimum of one 12-hour call shift required per month

13-week contract

Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Prior OR/ambulatory surgical experience required

COVID-19 vaccination required (two doses) or an approved declination

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies

Former permanent employees of the health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
