Position Overview
The Commercial Glazing Project Manager oversees commercial glazing projects from award through closeout. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates teams, manages procurement, and maintains strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning - Develop project schedules, budgets, and installation strategies.

Contract Administration - Review contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with scope and requirements.

Team Coordination - Lead internal teams, installers, fabricators, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Material Procurement - Manage ordering, delivery, and tracking of glass, aluminum, hardware, and specialty components.

Budget and Cost Control - Track costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and maintain project profitability.

Schedule Management - Coordinate fabrication timelines and field installation with general contractors and other trades.

Quality and Safety Oversight - Ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

Issue Resolution - Address field conflicts, design clarifications, and unforeseen conditions.

Client Communication - Provide updates, documentation, and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, architects, and owners.

Project Closeout - Complete punch lists, warranties, O and M manuals, and final documentation.
Qualifications

3 to 5 years of project management experience in commercial glazing or related construction

Strong understanding of glazing systems, fabrication, and installation methods

Ability to read architectural, structural, and shop drawings

Proficiency with project management software such as Buildertrend, Procore, or GlassManager

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
