Early Intervention Specialist (ECI)
Location: Longview, TX (Serving Gregg, Harrison, Panola, Marion, Upshur, and Rusk Counties)
Pay: Entry $21.50 per hour; $22.23 per hour after full certification

Role Overview
Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families? Community Healthcore is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) team.
In this role, you will work directly with children aged 0-2 who have developmental delays, providing essential services and family-centered support across East Texas.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Service Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating services within the ECI program and across community agencies.

Family-Centered Practice: Partner with families to design learning environments and curriculum plans that enhance their child's skill development.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Serve on the ECI Interdisciplinary Team to implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).

Documentation: Maintain timely high-quality, accurate files and record data neatly and objectively.

Community Advocacy: Build professional relationships with community entities to support public awareness of ECI services.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Graduate degree from an accredited university with specialization in Early Childhood Development, Human Development & Family Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, or Special Education.

Licensure: Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record required.

Certification: Ability to obtain Early Intervention Specialist credentials within the required timeframe (training provided).

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 44 lbs and perform physical activities such as crawling, kneeling, and bending.

Work Environment & Travel
This position offers a dynamic environment where services are delivered in-office and in the field (homes, daycares, etc.). You will travel across Gregg, Harrison, Panola, Marion, Upshur, and Rusk counties to meet families where they are.
