Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair security alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components.
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding alarm system operation.
- Collaborate with customers to design customized security solutions based on their specific needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field such as locksmithing or low voltage systems is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of system design principles and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies.
- Strong technical skills in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
