Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Material Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in construction/ maintenance, with the ability to work as part of a team. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Make multiple supply runs for onsite teams at multiple sites throughout the Rochester area to keep job progressing on schedule
- Coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure materials have been ordered and ready for pick up
- Inventory and organize existing materials and supplies on multiple sites
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, vendors and contractors
- Work with project managers, crew leaders, subcontractors, and other trades to complete jobs efficiently
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred, particularly with construction goods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards during transport operations.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial.
- Broad knowledge of general construction, remodeling, framing, repairs, and finish work
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
