Inside Sales Support / Customer Service Representative – Allentown

Unicorn Tire Corp. is seeking an Inside Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to provide dedicated day-to-day support to our Allentown Sales Representative and their customer accounts. This position will assist with customer communication, order processing, inventory availability, sales follow-up, and coordination with warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have tire industry experience and be comfortable working closely with a salesperson to help manage customer needs and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct daily support to the Allentown Sales Representative and assigned customer accounts.
- Serve as an additional point of contact for customers when the Sales Representative is unavailable or working in the field.
- Receive, review, enter, and follow up on customer orders.
- Verify tire brand, size, quantity, pricing, and product availability before orders are processed.
- Check warehouse inventory and provide accurate availability information to the Sales Representative and customers.
- Monitor open, pending, and completed orders and communicate status updates to the Sales Representative.
- Contact customers regarding order status, product availability, backorders, shipping information, and other account needs.
- Send requested inventory lists, product information, pricing, order information, and supporting documentation to the Sales Representative and customers.
- Assist the Sales Representative with customer follow-ups, quotes, order inquiries, and routine account communication.
- Relay customer requests, concerns, and potential sales opportunities to the Sales Representative.
- Coordinate with the Allentown warehouse team regarding inventory, order preparation, product availability, and shipment status.
- Help identify and resolve order discrepancies, inventory issues, shipping concerns, returns, and other customer-service matters.
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory information within company systems.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, accounting, logistics, and other departments as necessary to support customer accounts.
- Provide backup sales and customer-service support as needed.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Tire industry experience strongly preferred.
- Previous inside sales, sales support, customer service, or order-processing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of tire sizes, brands, products, and terminology is highly preferred.
- Experience working with warehouse inventory and order management is a plus.
- Strong telephone, email, and customer-service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize requests from the Sales Representative and customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining consistent communication with the Sales Representative.
- Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills; experience with inventory/order management systems preferred.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Allentown Sales Representative in servicing and maintaining customer accounts. The position will help keep the salesperson focused on developing customer relationships and generating sales by handling day-to-day order coordination, inventory checks, customer communication, follow-up, and internal warehouse coordination.
