Job Overview
In this role, you will test and troubleshoot electrical power systems and generators prior to shipment. You will work with AC/DC circuits up to 480V, using meters, schematics, and diagnostic tools to ensure equipment meets quality and safety standards.
This position is ideal for candidates with industrial electrical experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, or military electrical backgrounds (Navy / Air Force highly encouraged to apply).
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate electrical power systems and generators before shipment
- Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical circuits up to 480V
- Use voltmeters, current meters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Identify and resolve electrical faults and performance issues
- Perform basic electrical repairs and adjustments as needed
- Document test results and complete reports accurately
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements
Required:
- Experience working with 480V electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience using voltmeters or similar testing equipment
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills
Preferred (Not Required):
- Associate’s degree or technical training in the electrical field
- Military electrical experience (Navy / Air Force)
- Experience with generators or industrial equipment
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, PPE)
