HydraPro is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to grow our fastener and electrical business through wholesale distribution across Michigan, including Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, and surrounding markets.
This role will manage existing wholesale accounts, develop new distributor relationships, and promote HydraPro’s expanding product portfolio, including EMC Fasteners & Tools.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective wholesale distributors.
- Generate new wholesale business through cold calling, referrals, networking, and visits to distributor locations.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline to meet or exceed established sales and growth goals.
- Promote HydraPro products through consultative selling and demonstrations.
- Help wholesale partners increase product awareness, placement, and sales within their markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service from order placement through delivery.
- Monitor and report on distributor needs, market trends, competitors, and potential product opportunities.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory.
What We’re Looking For
- Three or more years of successful B2B outside sales or territory-management experience.
- Sales experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: fasteners, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, industrial distribution, or construction supply.
- Ability to generate leads, build lasting distributor relationships, negotiate effectively, and close opportunities.
- Michigan market knowledge or established wholesale industry relationships is a plus.
- Self-motivation and proven ability to independently manage and expand a large territory.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
