The role:
A role dedicated to crafting quality coffee while creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences that make each guest feel genuinely cared for. A hands-on opportunity to be part of a hospitality-driven team where attention to detail, consistency, and small moments of service matter.
A day in the life:
No two days are exactly the same, but here is a sample day of a Barista:
6:30 AM | The Setup: You meet the van at the commissary or the local pop-up location. You aren’t just "making coffee"—you are the guardian of quality. You’re focused on the technical details: tasting the espresso, calibrating the grind, and prepping the work station so that every drink is served at its peak.
7:00 AM | The Execution: The van is open for business and you are in the flow. You take pride in your speed and your precision, ensuring every guest receives a genuine welcome and every latte is textured perfectly..
10:00 AM | The Standards: Even as the line thins, your focus doesn't. You’re maintaining the shop-ready look of the van, keeping the steam wands spotless, the coffee and the retail shelves stocked. You notice when a detail is off and you correct it immediately..
11:00 AM | The Takedown: Service wraps up, and you support the effort to reset the space. You’re cleaning the machines and restocking for the next shift, ensuring the van is clean and packed, leaving it in top condition for the next event.
Wrap Up: You head out with your shift drink in hand, knowing the drinks you crafted and the kindness you shared made a real difference for everyone who stopped by the van today.
You'll thrive here if:
You are genuinely kind. You lead with empathy and take pride in creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences that make people feel cared for.
You take initiative. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you notice what needs attention, from service flow to supplies, and take action.
You are reliable and take pride in your work. You show up ready to contribute, follow through on responsibilities, and care about doing things well.
You are adaptable and resilient. Mobile coffee has a lot of moving parts. You stay calm, flexible, and keep a positive attitude when things get busy or plans shift.
You are a team player. You’re happy to jump in where needed, support others during service, and help create a positive working environment.
Logistics:
Type: Part-Time. We need someone with a flexible schedule to support our shifting event calendar (mostly mornings and weekends).
Physicality: You’re comfortable on your feet in a mobile environment and can lift up to 50 lbs (those coolers aren't light!).
Travel: This is mix of a mobile role and work at our commissary. We have events all over the South Shore, so you’ll need reliable transportation and a love for a change of scenery. Our commissary is located in West Bridgewater.
Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a great head start, but what we value most is your ability to stay organized under pressure and your proactive approach to taking care of our guests.
What you'll get from us:
Competitive Pay: We value your organizational brain and your hard work, and we pay accordingly. Pay starts at $18/hour.
Coffee: Shift drinks are on the house (obviously).
Skill Development: You’ll get hands-on experience with high-end equipment and specialty coffee techniques in a unique, boutique setting
Daily Laughter: We take our beans seriously—but ourselves? Not so much. We’re looking for a partner who finds fun in the hustle and loves the unique energy of a local shop. If you can handle a rush with a smile and a quick wit, we want to meet you.
A Culture of Kindness: Kindness is our baseline, not an afterthought. You’ll be part of a business that protects our culture of respect, where we show up for our customers and each other with our whole selves.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
