Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Lube Facility Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our automotive lubrication facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, supervising staff, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of service quality. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, managing schedules, workflows, and performance to ensure optimal operation of all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and mechanical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
- Manage facilities maintenance procedures utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues; perform HVAC system repair and mechanical systems repair as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for maintenance repair procedures, schematics, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance records.
Requirements
- Proven management experience with supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or automotive setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (including high voltage), and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and electrical experience including low voltage applications.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety programs in a facilities environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and project management tasks.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and inventory control.
- Excellent team management skills with a focus on leadership, communication in English, project management capabilities, and supervising diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to perform HVAC system repair tasks; familiarity with electrical systems troubleshooting; experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude complemented by knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair procedures.
