Full Job Description

Responsible for feeding sheeting through the flatwork ironer.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

· Feed linens through the flatwork ironer

· Count completed linens from the Flatwork ironer and load carts by linen specifications and customer

· Inspect for stains and wear and tear on all linens and place at assigned bin for rewash and discard as needed

· Clean personal work area and public areas each day

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Terry, Sort, or Packout departments as needed to maintain production standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate flatwork ironer
Ability to maintain the production standards set forth by the Production Manager
Ability to work well within a group
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
Ability to read and write English and perform basic math functions
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to stand at production work stations for extended periods of time
