We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of siding materials on residential buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in siding installation, combined with your knowledge of construction safety protocols, will contribute to delivering durable and visually appealing exteriors that meet client expectations. Duties
- Install various types of siding materials including Vinyl, Hardie Board, LP, and Steel according to project specifications and blueprints
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute siding layouts and details
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install siding components
- Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations and site safety standards
- Perform roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and related exterior work when required
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes on construction sites
Requirements
- Experience with related trades such as windows, roofing, framing, restoration work/remodels, caulking, trim installation is a plus
- Proven experience in siding installation with a strong background in construction site work
- Knowledge of construction blueprint reading
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and ladders for outdoor work
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations such as OSHA standards for ladder use and fall protection
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical plans and schematics accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills
