We are looking for responsible Delivery Drivers to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Experiences with Food, mail/parcel delivery, Military, Amazon Prime delivery & Landscape Driving are eligible. Experiences with larger trucks (step van , flatbed, box truck) required.
What you will do:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes in a designated area, same city every day.
- Follow routes and time schedules. Need to arrive station before 8:30am daily
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Collect payments
- The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver, 1+ year preferable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree or GED or equivalent.
- Must be Legal to work in the US.
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 3 years of verifiable Job-related driving experience in the last 10 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!).
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Have dependable transportation to and from the job location.
- Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus.
Schedule:
- This position is for weekend ONLY. Either Saturday or Sunday, or both. There is a potential to convert to full time.
