Position Summary
This contract position will collaborate with the Production operational department to provide QHSE (Quality Health Safety, and Environmental) support and guidance regarding the company’s safety policies, procedures, and expectations. Ensuring compliance with
CNX safety policies will be the main focus while applying a process safety approach to field operations. This position will work closely with the Operations Team and QHSE to track key performance indicators of the operational safety performance.
Target Responsibilities
- 100% field-based with Work safely and ensure company personnel and contractors comply with all company requirements and procedures.
- Ensure all contractors and company personnel comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Knowledge of industry standards and recommended practices (both safety and environmental) and able to assist in the
development of HSE programs.
- Train/coach the contractors in the field in company policies, OSHA regulations, DEP regulations and standard industry practices to eliminate high severity safety and environmental incidents.
- Provide support for incident investigation and analysis.
- Assist/Lead MOC and PSSR activities.
- Participate and assist in facilitating ERP drills.
- Perform facility risk assessments and work with employees to conduct mitigation for identified hazards.
- Perform contractor audits for personnel working at CNX Resources facilities.
- Oversee personnel performing minor spill clean up
Preferred Requirements
- 2+ year related experience in Oil & Gas is preferred.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Oil & Gas or Industrial equipment/applications is preferred (Mobile Equipment, Construction, Excavations, Welding/Fabricating, and systems including pressurized, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.).
- Prior experience with well workover and well plugging
- Specialized training, certification, experience, or familiarity in variety topics is preferred. OSHA, Well Control, Risk Assessment/Hazard Analysis, Gas Detection, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical, Incident Investigation, First Aid/CPR, First Responder/EMT is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state law with respect to OSHA. Familiarity with consensus standards (API, ASME, NFPA, ASTM) is a plus.

- Must be able and willing to work in adverse weather conditions, nights, and weekends.
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to interact effectively with employees, contractors, regulatory personnel, and the public.
- Must be able to drive safely off-road in adverse conditions.
- Must possess computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
