Job Description:
We are partnering with a global organization to hire a Lead SAP Technical Architect with strong expertise in SAP Basis, SAP RISE, and enterprise integration architecture. This role is critical in supporting and evolving a complex, global SAP landscape across cloud and hybrid environments.
This position offers a balanced mix of technical leadership (60%) and hands-on execution (40%), where you will define architecture strategy, drive best practices, and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of SAP systems across regions.
- Lead the design and evolution of SAP technical architecture across cloud and on-prem environments
- Provide oversight and technical direction for SAP Basis administration and operations
- Architect and manage enterprise integrations between SAP and third-party systems
- Support and optimize SAP RISE (cloud transformation initiatives)
- Ensure system performance, availability, scalability, and security across global deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Drive standardization, governance, and best practices across SAP environments
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide hands-on support when required
- 10+ years of experience in SAP technical roles with strong focus on SAP Basis and architecture
- Proven experience with SAP RISE / SAP cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of integration architecture (SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs, middleware)
- Experience managing large-scale, global SAP landscapes
- Hands-on expertise in system installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution
