SEEKING TRUCK SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR GREAT LOCAL COMPANY IN STOW, OH!

POSITION SUMMARY: Technicians will be responsible for repairing a variety of commercial trucking installations / modifications. Technicians will work on a small team to work on these systems via hand and power tools. These systems include storage built-ins, tail/headlight fixtures, and a variety of other modifications. Welding experience helpful, but not required. Must be mechanically-inclined and experienced using a variety of different types of tools, as well as wiring fixtures.
Previous mechanical experience in automotive industry is preferred!
Starting Pay:
- 23.00 - 26.00 Per Hour / Paid Weekly
1st Shift:
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
Essential Functions:
- Installs and repairs modifications/systems using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Spot welding helpful, but not required
- Wiring experience preferred for tail/headlight fixtures
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead.
- Must be familiar with power tools in order to perform the tasks stated above.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Required Education and Experience:
- 1‐3 years of mechanical/automotive related experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure required
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints highly preferred.
- Clean Criminal Background and be able to pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen Test
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation(Not on the Bus Line)
