About the Role
ASPIRE is seeking energetic, compassionate individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians serving Austin, TX and neighboring communities. In this role, you will work directly with clients in home and community-based settings to implement behavioral treatment programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
You’ll use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to:
- Deliver one-on-one instruction
- Teach social, play, communication, and daily living skills
- Reduce challenging behaviors with evidence-based strategies
- Track client progress through detailed data collection
This is a part-time position ideal for individuals committed to making a long-term impact—we ask for a minimum one-year commitment. Full time opportunities may be available for the right candidates.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome both experienced professionals and those new to the field who are eager to learn and grow. Preferred candidates have experience in ABA, are upper-division students or graduates in psychology, education, or a related field, and/or hold an RBT certification.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Possess and/or attain the Registered Behavior Technician credential
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Ability to regularly travel throughout Austin, TX and surrounding areas
- Availability for at least 3 weekday afternoons (3:30–6:30 PM) during the school year
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Successful completion of a background check
- One-year minimum commitment to assigned clients
