About the Position
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.
This position will have a consistent primary building assignment and regular scheduled hours. In addition to maintaining your assigned building, you will also provide cleaning coverage when another team member is absent.
When coverage is needed, you may be asked to temporarily work in another building or assigned area. When coverage is not needed, you will focus on your primary building, ensuring it is thoroughly cleaned and well maintained, and may assist with additional cleaning or detail projects.
We are looking for someone who takes pride and ownership in their work. You should be someone who doesn't just clean what's obvious, you notice the details and recognize when something needs additional attention.
Responsibilities
Your Primary Assignment
- Clean and maintain your assigned building on a consistent basis
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and remove trash
- Wipe and clean surfaces throughout the building, including counters, ledges, tables, doors, and other frequently touched areas
- Clean interior glass, glass doors, windows, partitions, and other interior glass surfaces as needed
- Clean and maintain restrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces
- Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and quality standards
- Pay attention to areas that may need additional cleaning or attention
- Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or supply shortages
- Take ownership and pride in keeping your assigned building clean, safe, and presentable
Team Coverage
- Provide cleaning coverage when another team member is absent
- Temporarily work in another building or assigned area when coverage is needed
- Follow the cleaning expectations and procedures for each location
- Adjust your priorities based on the needs of the team
- Return to your primary assignment when coverage is no longer needed
- Assist with additional cleaning or detail projects when your primary building is fully maintained
Late-Notice Coverage Incentive
We recognize that unexpected call-offs can create additional challenges for the team. Employees in this position may have the opportunity to earn an additional bonus for voluntarily providing short-notice coverage when another team member is unexpectedly absent.
The coverage bonus is earned when you accept and successfully complete the additional coverage shift. Simply being available or willing to help does not qualify for the bonus.
This incentive is designed to recognize employees who are willing to step up and help the team when unexpected coverage needs arise.

Important Position Expectations
This is a part-time position with a regular primary building assignment and scheduled hours.
The employee must also be willing to provide temporary coverage for other cleaning assignments when a team member is absent. Coverage needs may occasionally change from day to day.
Reliability and attendance are especially important because this position is designed to provide dependable support when unexpected absences occur.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with commercial cleaning
