Carolyn’s Modern Vietnamese is looking for a strong Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. We’re seeking dependable cooks who care about quality, teamwork, hospitality, and leadership in a professional kitchen environment.
This role is ideal for someone who can lead by example during service, help support the kitchen team, and maintain consistency and organization in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items to recipe and presentation standards
Help lead and support line cooks during service
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Support prep, service, and special events
Communicate effectively with the BOH team
Help maintain kitchen organization and daily standards
Requirements
Previous line cook experience required
Leadership experience in a kitchen preferred
Knowledge of food safety and proper handling
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
