Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee all financial and administrative functions within our organization. Duties
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and Quicken, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account analysis, and financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Oversee payroll processing, including tax filings and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct account reconciliation for various accounts, including governmental accounting where applicable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits, tax preparation, and internal reporting; prepare detailed financial reports as needed.
- Supervise administrative tasks such as office supply management, scheduling, correspondence handling, and supporting overall office efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or full-charge bookkeeper with extensive knowledge of accounting systems like QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar software.
- Strong background in corporate accounting practices with familiarity in non-profit accounting and governmental accounting if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle payroll processing, tax experience, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping methods.
- Experience working with financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Prior office management experience including administrative support functions and team coordination.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles to ensure compliance across all financial activities.
- Excellent skills in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy along with proficiency in financial report writing and budget management.
