Primary Therapist – Full-Time
Reprieve Recovery Center | PHP IOP OP
Reprieve Recovery Center is a dynamic outpatient substance use treatment program providing PHP, IOP, and OP services. We are seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is experienced in treating substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions, and is aligned with a 12-Step, abstinence-based model of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekly individual therapy sessions for clients on a rotating caseload
- Address client behavioral concerns promptly and therapeutically as they arise
- Maintain oversight of each caseload client’s progress and ensure follow-through with clinical directives
- Support and reinforce active participation in the 12-Step program, including step work
- Conduct family outreach calls to provide clinical updates and education on healthy boundaries
- Complete all required documentation in the EMR (KIPU), including:
- ASAM assessments
- Biopsychosocial evaluations
- Master problem lists
- Treatment plans & reviews
- Clinical progress notes (DAP)
- Family contact notes
- Transfer/discharge summaries
- Facilitate scheduled didactic and group therapy sessions
- Maintain a therapeutic environment with clear, consistent boundaries
- Actively engage in weekly clinical team meetings and case reviews
Requirements
- Strong understanding of addiction, motivational enhancement, client engagement, therapeutic boundaries, and confidentiality
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a substance use treatment setting
- LMHC, LMFT, LCSW
- Strong documentation skills consistent with DCF, Joint Commission, UR/Managed Care, and ASAM standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, KIPU, and general computer systems
- Availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for scheduled evening groups (Mon/Wed/Thu)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
