We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Wrapper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation. Responsibilities
- Ensure all meat products are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate knives and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Needs to be able to lift up to 50lbs
Skills
- Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, with a focus on meat wrapping.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with packaging procedures for meat products.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
