Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Station Opener / Loadout Operations Coordinator to support morning loadout operations. This role is critical to ensuring drivers are properly equipped, vehicles are ready, routes are assigned accurately, and communication between teams and stations runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and capable of troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Morning Loadout Operations
Audit fleet readiness prior to loadout
- Ensure van bags are properly stocked and equipped
- Prepare and distribute phones and gas cards
- Create and manage Dock Door Assignment Sheets (WCI1)
- Create and manage Route/Van Assignment Sheets (DKS3)
- Communicate any potential barriers or operational issues with the station
- Troubleshoot problem stops with the station
- Be available to answer Delivery Associate (DA) questions during loadout
- Lead or support standup meetings with working knowledge of daily operations
- Effectively and proficiently troubleshoot any van or equipment issues
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic computer systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- DSP or delivery operations experience preferred but not required
What We Offer
- $18/hour starting pay
- Consistent part-time schedule (one weekend day required)
- Sun, Mon, Tues 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM
