Sales Representative
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to identify, pursue, and close high-value commercial roofing opportunities, primarily in Jacksonville and North Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Prospect and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals
- Research markets to identify potential commercial roofing clients
- Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, contractors, and building owners
- Get on roofs to gather information about customer's needs and project scope
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and roofing proposals with support from established sales organization and corporate services
- Collaborate with estimating teams to develop competitive project quotes
- Manage and track the sales pipeline using CRM software
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and text to provide weekly project status updates
- Attend industry events and trade shows to expand market presence
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activity, market trends, and opportunities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales in commercial roofing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong general fluency with computers and programs including CRM software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and BlueBeam Revu
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
Work Environment: Remote and office-based with frequent site visits to clients and project sites
Job Type & Salary Range: Full-time & primarily commission based with on-target-earnings of $70k-$110k or more, uncapped commission potential
