The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating job orders, resource schedules and inventory. Monitors and adjust job order quantities and completions with feedback from the department supervisor and employees. Coordinates and adjusts schedules based on availability of staff and resources (work centers). Effectively communicates between departments to relay status of job orders and prioritize expedites. Ensure accuracy of product counts and transactions. Adjust job orders to correct quantities, switch resources, split or re-print job orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling: Creating and managing production schedules, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress to meet production goals.
- Resource Management: Coordinating the allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize production flow.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, verifying accuracy of transaction reporting, ensure back flush and sub-components are completed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitating communication between different departments to ensure smooth production operations and status updates.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that arise during the production process, working with relevant teams to find solutions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Preparing production reports, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement in production efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all relevant health and safety regulations. Observe and make recommendations for improvements
