We are looking for a Kitchen Supervisor who can lead daily kitchen preparation and service execution, uphold food safety and quality standards, and support the successful opening and growth of the brand.

Kitchen Supervisor
Responsibilities
· Supervise daily kitchen preparation, line execution, and order flow to ensure consistency, speed, cleanliness, and quality.
· Maintain standards for broth/base preparation, sauces, ingredients, portioning, presentation, and overall product quality.
· Train and guide kitchen team members on recipes, prep standards, food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and station organization.
· Support the customized bowl format by ensuring ingredients are properly prepared, stocked, rotated, and ready for service.
· Monitor kitchen cleanliness, equipment use, storage areas, and opening and closing procedures.
· Assist with inventory counts, receiving, stocking, product rotation, waste control, and basic cost awareness.
· Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure timely order fulfillment and a smooth guest experience.
· Communicate issues related to product quality, supply needs, maintenance, staffing, or operations to the Store Manager or management team.
· Help build a disciplined, positive, and efficient kitchen culture aligned with HotSpot61 brand standards.
Requirements
· Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant environment is required.
· Prior experience as a kitchen lead, kitchen supervisor, line lead, prep lead, or senior cook is strongly preferred.
· Experience with hot pot, Malatang, Chinese restaurants, Asian kitchens, fast casual concepts, or high-volume restaurant operations is a strong plus.
· Understanding of broth/base handling, sauce standards, meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles, tofu products, prep quality, and food safety controls.
· Able to lead by example, follow standards, train team members, and maintain discipline during busy service periods.
· Strong sense of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and teamwork.
· Able to stand for long periods, lift kitchen supplies as needed, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to support opening, closing, and flexible restaurant schedules.
· Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
· Bilingual ability in English and Chinese or Spanish is a plus.
