We are looking for an experienced Tax Credit Community Manager to join our team for an immediate opportunity!
We are actively recruiting an experienced Tax Credit Community Manager to join a professionally managed apartment community focused on resident satisfaction, high service standards, and strong occupancy. The ideal candidate is an organized, service-oriented leader with experience managing LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) communities who will oversee day-to-day property operations, leasing, resident relations, staff development, compliance, and financial performance.

Lead all aspects of day-to-day property operations while maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction, curb appeal, and customer service.

Manage leasing operations by welcoming prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, preparing leases, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs.

Supervise office, leasing, and maintenance teams by providing leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight.

Maintain compliance with LIHTC program requirements, including resident files, certifications, recertifications, income verification, and required documentation.

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, state and federal affordable housing requirements, and property certifications.

Oversee occupancy goals, resident retention efforts, leasing performance, and marketing initiatives.

Manage property financial performance, including budgeting, rent collections, delinquency management, expense control, rent roll accuracy, and monthly financial reporting.

Coordinate maintenance operations, vendor relationships, unit turns, and capital improvement projects to maintain the property's physical condition.

Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, ownership, and management while professionally resolving resident concerns.

Maintain accurate records and reporting using property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, OneSite, ResMan, AppFolio, or similar systems.

Serve as the primary on-site leader and point of contact while maintaining communication with management teams.

3+ years of multifamily property management experience.

Previous Community Manager experience required.

Previous experience managing a Tax Credit (LIHTC) or affordable housing community required.

Strong knowledge of LIHTC compliance, affordable housing regulations, certifications, and recertifications.

Proven leadership experience supervising leasing, maintenance, and office staff.

Strong customer service, communication, sales, and conflict-resolution skills.

Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, collections, occupancy goals, and expense control.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.

CAM, Tax Credit, or other multifamily certifications are a plus.
