Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Pay: Starts at New York State minimum wage ($16.00). Employees who successfully complete their probationary period become eligible for a pay increase up to $20.00 per hour based on performance, reliability, and responsibility.
About Us
Lind-Hart Mini Ship has been serving Hamburg and Western New York for more than 40 years. We help individuals and businesses with packing, shipping, freight, e-commerce fulfillment, printing, mailbox services, and logistics solutions.
We're looking for a dependable afternoon team member who enjoys helping customers, staying busy, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with shipping, packaging, and retail services
- Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other carriers
- Answer phones and assist customers with questions
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming packages
- Help prepare outgoing shipments for carrier pickups
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with end-of-day closing procedures
- Lift, move, and organize packages as needed
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Comfortable working with customers and handling multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Retail, shipping, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
