Star SU, a subsidiary of Star Cutter Company, is a family owned, globally recognized, manufacturer of custom round tools and hobs. We are currently seeking an individual to support our Hoffman Estates location with responsibilities in our Order Entry and Shipping area. Core Hours for this role are 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.

What you’ll be doing:
- Process customer orders for tool reconditioning and repairs. Including communicating with the customer regarding order statuses and service questions.
- Process all shipping & receiving documentation including shippers, purchase orders labels, and freight to meet the customer and organization standards.
- Coordinate the scheduling of internal and external freight shipments both domestic and international.
- Verification of goods for quantity and quality with orders to ensure accuracy.
- Manage department supplies to ensure optimum stock levels including tracking of customer orders throughout the process .
- Prepare shipments including packaging, labeling, and carrier coordination.
What we ask you to bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 – 2 years Order Entry, Shipping Experience or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
