American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a pediatric caseload in the Redding, CA area, with new graduates welcome to apply.

School-based occupational therapy assignment serving school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of a Redding office
-
Alternative option available covering four school sites in Shasta county, based out of the Redding office

Pediatric and school-aged client population
-
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

13-week assignment with possibility of extension through the full school year (August 2026 - May 2027)

Mileage and travel time reimbursed for multi-site travel

Any charting system experience accepted

Active California Occupational Therapist license required if applicable

Bachelor's degree required
-
Valid Driver's License required

BLS certification required
-
NBCOT certification preferred
-
New graduates accepted, no prior experience required

Experience with pediatric populations including autism, cerebral palsy, and sensory integration preferred

Skills in handwriting programs and sensory diet programs preferred

Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluations, and designing and implementing treatment programs

Therapist will travel to and work across multiple school sites
