Position Overview
The Commercial Plumbing Foreman is responsible for leading plumbing crews and overseeing commercial plumbing projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage job site operations while maintaining MPI's high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of commercial plumbing crews
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on job sites
- Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with company standards and plumbing codes
- Train, mentor, and support field employees
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and customers
- Identify and resolve job site challenges proactively
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman
- Current Journeyman Plumbing License required
- Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to meet company insurance requirements
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation practices, and applicable codes
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
