Our 8-physician specialist office is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced practice.
Qualifications:

Applicant must have great interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task while being well organized.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.

Dedication to providing excellent patient care.

Preferably bilingual in Spanish.

The candidate may need to work rotating Saturday mornings.

The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel in Bay Area.

Job Duties:
Room patients in a timely manner, including but not limited to:
-
PFT’s
-
VS’s
- History with all medications pt. is taking.
-
Fill out forms pt. needs (RX’s, school forms, etc.)
-
Have rooms stocked for MD/NP.
-
Call prescriptions refills.
-
Call patients back with MD/NP answers to questions and results to tests.
-
Able to get medications that MD/NP need.
-
Able to do treatments required by MD/NP.
-
Able to anticipate needs of MD/NP.
-
Triage position, able to schedule an appointment.

Oral Challenge to food and medications.
-
Patch Testing.
-
Able to draw up & give IM and SQ injections.
-
Able to treat and maintain a systemic/anaphylaxis.
