We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including foundations, sidewalks, and hardscapes. The Concrete Laborer will collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and stone setting.
- Engage in trim carpentry tasks related to concrete forms and finishing.
- Conduct renovations involving concrete elements, ensuring structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete labor or related construction fields.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Familiarity with concrete pumping techniques is preferred.
- Experience with hardscape installation is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Proficiency in using power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques is beneficial.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety.
- Valid Drivers license with clean driving Record
