Job Overview
Secret Sauce Society is proud to represent Maruchan, one of the world's most recognized ramen brands, and we're looking for reliable, efficient Kitchen Crew members to help deliver an unforgettable festival experience.
This large-scale activation features an immersive brand experience, a fully functioning convenience store, and a food truck serving free Maruchan samples to thousands of festival attendees throughout the weekend.
We're looking for team members who thrive in fast-paced kitchen environment, work well alongside others, and bring a positive attitude to every shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and committed to representing the Maruchan brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.
As a Kitchen Crew member, you'll prepare and serve ramen samples, assemble serving trays, maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace, and collaborate with a supportive team to create an exceptional guest experience.
Note, this is a temporary event-based position for the festival weekend.
Event Dates
- Setup Days: Sept 1-3
- Event Days:
- Sept 4 (3 PM – 10 PM)
- Sept 5–6 (1 PM – 10 PM)
- Load Out: Sept 7
Role Responsibilities
This position includes a variety of responsibilities that may include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and assemble food samples for menu items according to instructions
- Assist with food prep before and during service
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Help with opening, closing, and cleanup duties
Who We are Looking For
- Previous food handling or kitchen experience required (restaurant, food truck, or similar)
- Food Handler Card is a plus (or willingness to obtain one if required)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- Reliable transportation to and from the event venue
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communicator, punctuality, and positive attitude
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working large scale events with high amounts of traffic
