Elin Energy LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to become an extension of our HR Manager and play a vital role in supporting our growing manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on HR position responsible for employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, investigations, compliance, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, coaching leaders, and creating a positive employee experience.
This is not an entry-level HR role. We're looking for someone with strong HR fundamentals who wants to continue growing into future leadership opportunities.
Essential Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruiting.
- Source candidates.
- Conduct phone screens.
- Coordinate interviews.
- Extend offers.
- Build talent pipelines.
- Attend hiring events when needed.
Onboarding
- Coordinate orientation.
- Complete I-9s.
- Process E-Verify.
- Process background checks.
- Maintain personnel files.
- Ensure compliance documentation is complete.
Employee Relations
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Coach supervisors.
- Resolve employee concerns.
- Prepare disciplinary documentation.
- Conduct terminations.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
Compliance
- Process unemployment claims.
- Assist with EEOC responses.
- Employment verifications.
- Policy interpretation.
- Personnel file audits.
- HR compliance reporting.
Employee Engagement
- Coordinate employee appreciation events.
- Develop recognition programs.
- Create the company newsletter.
- Coordinate wellness initiatives.
- Organize holiday events.
- Support company culture initiatives.
HR Operations
- Support performance reviews.
- Track employee training.
- Assist with handbook updates.
- Create HR reports.
- Maintain recruiting metrics.
- Assist with HR projects.
- Support audits.
- Help improve HR processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English & Spanish
- Minimum 3 years HR experience
- Minimum 1 year HR experience within manufacturing
- Full-cycle recruiting experience
- Employee relations experience
- Investigation experience
- Unemployment claims
- EEOC experience
- E-Verify
- I-9 Compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Excellent communication skills
