Job Description:
Job Purpose
To schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance. To serve as lead mechanic, assigning daily work to maintenance team.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Schedule and perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
Schedule and perform complex equipment repairs.
Perform general fabrication and machinist work.
Troubleshoot problems as necessary.
Take elective cross training.
Serve as lead mechanic; assign daily work to maintenance team.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of current supervisory techniques.
Expert knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
Strong time management, organization and prioritizing skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and written repair manuals.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years’ of technical training in general maintenance.
Experience:
8+ years’ general maintenance experience required.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
