American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a high-acuity Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience, prior travel experience, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

19-bed Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
-
High-acuity patient population with a 1-2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio

12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
On-call required: 12 hours per 6-week scheduling period

EMR: Epic experience used on this unit
-
Floating is required; travelers are first to float, including to sister campuses located within 15-20 minutes of the primary facility

Active FL RN license or compact RN license (currently in hand)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
-
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course completion required
-
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course and EFM certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Ability to manage high-acuity L&D patients

Degree from an accredited nursing program required, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation

Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function at the same level as core staff

Orientation begins on a Friday; remote orientation is completed prior to an in-person visit to the facility for badge and ID

No block scheduling requests will be accommodated

All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved afterward

Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; this radius rule is strictly enforced and applies to owned or co-signed property as well

Scrub color required: Galaxy Blue and/or White

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position; prior travel experience is required
