A Shelter Friend is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing homeless pets and preventing shelter deaths. We provide veterinary care and house former shelter animals in our state-inspected quarantine facility until they can be safely transferred to an approved rescue group or a loving forever home.

Requirements:
- Love for all creatures, vet assistant experience a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
Full-time: 35- 40 hours/week
This is a full-time rotating-schedule position. Shifts are assigned weekly and may fall on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Two consecutive days off are guaranteed, but they may vary week to week.
