Seeking a seasoned Controller for our Fullerton based, well-established, Commercial Construction company providing services to Fortune 50 and 500 corporations. Our internal culture is positive, collaborative and proactive with an understanding of work/life balance.
The Company Controller will be responsible for the accounting and record keeping of the organization. Additional responsibilities will include management of information technologies, insurance, sales tax reporting, federal income tax reporting, supported by outsourced CPA firm.
The central mission for the Controller is the day-to-day management of company corporate accounting affairs, providing timely and accurate information to the executive team. This includes cash management, financial reporting, creation and oversight of financial information systems, job costing, develop and maintain internal controls, documentation, and the oversight and analysis of company assets. Oversee accounting team, and advise executives on finance matters, help create company budgets/forecasts and ensure that accounting functions run smoothly.
Proficient in Sage 300 (Timberline) and Microsoft Excel
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
- 15 years in accounting, the last five of which is in the construction industry.
- Supervisory experience.
- Budgeting/Job costing experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill.
- SmartSheet experience a plus.
- MUST HAVE SAGE 300 (Timberline) EXPERIENCE.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
