Duties
- Prepare a variety of pizza dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes, food safety standards, and quality control.
- Handle food production tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, baking, and finishing pizzas with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of all kitchen equipment and work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or specials based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, navigating routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while maintaining vehicle safety protocols.
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers during delivery, answering questions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, portioning, and presentation of pizzas for optimal freshness.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food safety management.
- Experience in high-volume production settings or catering is a plus.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is advantageous for understanding special dietary needs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to navigate efficiently in various traffic conditions.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
